Trust Gangaidzo

PHD Student

Trust Gangaidzo holds BSc Honours Economics and MSc Economics Degrees from the University of Zimbabwe. During his Master’s degree studies (2014-2016), Trust was a teaching assistant for undergraduate applied statistics and macroeconomics. Before enrolling for his PhD, Trust worked on a short-term contract for the African Capacity Building Foundation (the African Union’s Specialized Agency for Capacity Development). Trust is currently a DAAD scholarship holder and doing his PhD at Stellenbosch University. His PhD thesis focuses on the socioeconomic perspective of stressful life events and hypertension in developing countries. His main research interests are development economics and health economics.
