Research associate

Dineo Seabe is an Economics Lecturer and an international Development Expert, focusing on issues around economic development, and governance. She holds a joint PhD in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussels and Stellenbosch University. She has a passion for people-centred economic development and her main research interests are the third sector broadly, public and NGO accountability as well as volunteering and public engagement. She has presented her work at various international conferences and has published on NGOs, NGO accountability in African non-profit organizations, public engagement, volunteering, and the introduction of information technology to improve the sustainability and participation in the nonprofit and public sectors.
