On 1 & 2 March 2018, RESEP hosted researchers from Research on Improving Systems of Education (RISE) for the Africa RISE–RESEP Conference on Education Research at Stellenbosch University. Over the two day conference, members from the RISE Ethiopia and Tanzania Country Research Teams (CRT) joined researchers from RESEP, as well as other key researchers working on quantitative research on education in Africa. The event was organised with the aim of gaining a better understanding of overlapping research issues, encouraging the exploration of new research possibilities, as well as fostering opportunities for mutual learning.
