Tina Fransman

PhD Candidate

Tina Fransman is currently an Economics PhD candidate at the University of Stellenbosch. She holds a B.Com, B.ComHons (Economics), and MCom (Economics), Cum Laude from the University of the Western Cape. Her Masters Thesis was the winner of the 2018 Founders’ Medal, awarded by the Economic Society of South Africa (ESSA). Tina’s main research interests are development economics and labour economics. Her PhD focuses on political accountability, service delivery, and political participation.
