Carmen Sue Christian
PhD Student and Researcher
Carmen Christian is a health economist and social entrepreneur. She lectures economics at UWC and researches public health complexities from an economics perspective. Her understanding of public health issues is strengthened by her unique inter-disciplinary background in health sciences and economics. Carmen aims to pursue her PhD in Health Economics in order to contribute to redesigning health policies via evidence-based research. She believes that her chosen career path will add value to society by improving access to quality healthcare for all South Africans.
